Adsense, do you want Google Analytics as your life’s partner?

“Sure, why not” - the answer comes…

This could be the beginning of an excellent relationship between Google’s two services, AdSense and Analytics… or not. While many sites, including Problogger or Labnor, started to publish even screenshots about a new feature of Analytics that might buzz the online community, it seems the posts are only meant to… well… buzz the online community, but with a hoax, not a truth. As Darren states on Problogger, this “news” was started by TheGoogleCache.com, but as a miracle, I can’t seem to find the article on TheGoogleCache … maybe it got deleted and was based on the fact that the AdSense UI was closed for the publishers on September the 13th, which caused in many minds to relate the maintenance to a possible feature implementation…

Google states nothing, they didn’t react to the “news” which is not unusual anyway. Just to be sure I dropped a latter to Google… You can imagine the answer: “Please understand that we can not disclose our future releases…”, myeah, thanks for the precious info.

So, why do I think this “news” is hoax? Look here, this is a screenshot posted about the brand new Analytics feature:

Basically what we see, means that one ad click pays more than half a US Dollar… when did you get that CPC rate the last time? I guess you didn’t at all…
