Google Cash system author, Chris Carpenter testimony: I am not a scammer
by Gary IllyesFacebook ads, press releases and even Google ads make users to pay for an e-book — which original author was Chris Carpenter –, still creates buzz on the internet. Hundreds of users are complaining at the Federal Trade Commission and other complaint boards about fraudulently charged credit cards, unreceived products and inability of terminating the subscription they have payed for. All this because Chris Carpenter created an e-book which explained quite in detail how to become a successful e-marketer. The e-book was published for the first time almost 5 years ago, the internet has changed since then a lot, so did the people who claim to be Chris Carpenter and sell the Google Cash e-book and related services for unaware users.
On the Google Websearch help forum revolted users complain about unreceived products and inability of unsubscribing from the “Get rich fast” service. Many users blame Google Inc. because either they think that the service is Google related or because the corporation worth billions seemingly does nothing to protect its brand.
One of the users asks: “I have been researching a service called GoogleCash which is a work at home plan. Is this a legitimate business or just a scam ? If it is just another scam, why does Google allow them to use their name and trademark ?”
The top contributors of the forum — users who has been chosen by Google for their excellent contribution –, Dave Moore, Kaleh, and other, high level users like Thomas P. instantly answer to avoid the system because it is very likely to be a scam.
In a response, a user claiming to be Chris Carpenter replies:
This is Chris Carpenter the author of the ebook “Google Cash” ([editors' note.: link removed])
My ebook Google Cash, and the Google Cash System are not scams.
The Google Cash System is a legitimate work at home business that I detail in
an ebook that first came out in 2003.However, recently some scammers took my Google Cash name and started using
it: Google Cash Kit, Google Cash Cow, Google Cash Success Kit, etc., etc. Those are not affiliated with my Google Cash ebook or the Google Cash system.
I purchased one of those Google Cash Kit products a few months back and
was surprised to find all sorts of extra charges on my credit card that I didn’t
see anything about on their site.I remember thinking OMG now everyone is going to start screaming that Google Cash
is a scam. When in reality the Google Cash System and ebook are legit but those jerks
that stole the Google Cash name are questionable at best.It sucks that these scammers started using my Google Cash name, because
the Google Cash ebook and System are for real and they have helped thousands
of people make money online. If you do a little more research online you will see
that this is true.It also sucks that I didn’t come up with a better name than Google Cash. Because
since it has “Google” in the name, it’s not really my name, so anyone can come
along and copy the name and there isn’t really anything I can do about it.So I’ll be changing the name from Google Cash to something else. I’ll let you
know as soon as I’ve changed it.Anyway, please do checkout the real Google Cash ebook ([editors' note.: link removed])
and I promise you, it is not a scam! Thanks,
Chris
We’ve asked the user claiming to be Chris Carpenter to give us an interview and explain in detail why the people consider the Google Cash System a scam. We’re waiting for an answer.
The Google Cash system has been labeled as scam because the information from the e-book is outdated yet the affiliate websites still sells it. After paying a one-time shipping fee the users’ credit card is billed on monthly basis with sums hitting $80 (USD) and because the users have hard time unsubscribing from the service as the customer support ignores the support requests.
Stay tuned for further reference about the Google Cash System.

Been partially disabled for 8+ years after running successful business for 20+ years. It’s too bad that there is so much garbage (scams) on the inet that someone who is very capable and very willing to work online-(legitimately)-simply cannot sift through the rubbish and find legitimate online work; if indeed such an employ even exists.

Well for any of those who are STILL tempted by these numerous “opportunities” to work from home, consider these aspects before “buying” in to any thing, especially if it is just an idea…
First and foremost NO legitimate WAH opportunity will require you to be “buying” ANYTHING, if it does, it most likely is a scam, I say likely because there are a very small few exceptions where some business opportunities require some supplies or in the case of drop shipping, a deposit on the merchandise that you will initially be ordering from them as a means to ensure THEY are not scammed until you establish a credit worthy, relationship with these suppliers.
Second No legitimate opportunity will require “start up fees” or other charges, but instead should be offering you your first “trial opportunity” to get you used to whatever system being employed, be it browser based interface, or downloaded and installed proprietary software (which also should be free) so you can exhibit your capability of following through with the business opportunity.
Third, there also should be entirely free support available to assist you, even if it is limited in as much as being available during regular business hours, in fact this is one GOOD indication it is NOT a scam, because it is presenting a realistic imposition, based in basic business economics, …payroll is one of the highest expenses when in business, so reducing costs by limiting availability is good business practice even if the business is highly profitable, for which a 24 hour payroll would defeat that purpose!
Fourth, you should never be required to PAY for ‘ANYTHING” you are selling to the WAH source, however if you are selling products, the drop shipping company will require payment up front before shipping anything, but by this time you also should have collected the customer’s cost prior to setting up the merchandise order, so unless they are using fraudulent credit information, you will have made you cut before spending any portion of it on the products.
Fifth, any opportunity that is product related should be products from other sources that the origin of the opportunity, and no minimum monthly order be required, if it does, then it is an MLM and only those creating these multi level marketing setups even make any money, the rest of those down the chain just do all the work, the bad side to many MLM’S is that what they profess as being the income potential, and show you right up front how it works, is entirely true and an accurate description of the results, IF IT IS YOUR MLM AND YOU ARE AT THE TOP, otherwise you are selling their “idea” for them and getting very little for your efforts, as well as likely paying for those products before you have a sale for them.
Lastly, there are the ones that are entirely and truthfully absolutely free, they ask for nothing more than you email address for verification, and sign you up at a relatively high position and set you up to be poised to start raking in the dough, these are y far the most common of the scams, because they ask you for nothing, “give” you a completely set up and well designed web based store front that is completely customizable by you, and “sounds” very legitimate because initially you are “getting” more than you are asked to contribute, and usually the only contribution on you part is the time put in to “promote” your new store front web based business and then comes the other foot….
So you have done everything they said but no traffic so they will recommend using xyz.com for advertising, or “driving traffic ” to your new free website, and recommend you also do some email marketing, but in order to do that and still be ICANN compliant, you need to get “qualified leads” and where do you find those? well they ill offer you a few resources to help inject some life in to your new website, after all traffic is paramount to any website, and once you have the 1,000, 10,000, or 1,000,000
opt-in” leads, they will offer you resources for getting an auto-responder service that will allow you to pitch your site’s products or services in the form of HTML emails, yet another “free” tool they offer, that being a browser based WYSIWYG site modification interface to customize your website so all of those working from the same source do not all look the same, and again re-enforcing how so many features are free, BUT….
here’s the catch, if you haven’t already figured out, the web has amazing depths of information available to anyone who looks deeply enough to find them and sort them from the promotions leading you to someplace to hand over your money, but this is not true of EVERY servce, and what you need to get some understanding of is how websites work on the Internet, and who keeps track of it and how. All these tools are there for you.
The first step to verify if it is a legitimate offer, is utilizing the “Whois” look up services, that used to be free nd still might have some “back door” access that may still be free, now what you are looking for, even if at this stage you go for the ten or twenty dollar nominal charge for extended use and expanded options, and do a who is look up on the source site, and then (if you paid the ten buck) you will see an option to also look up other websites owned by this person or company, with that in mind, if it says “Owner – domains by proxy” or similar, then they are legally hiding their information, this should be a big giant warning sign, so stop right there and go not further with this source, now if it does in fact show a person or business name as the owner, you still are not getting confirmation, because where it says …xx number of other sites also owned by your WAH source, and after paying the ten bucks to get the additional information, (that I for one is hoping to get back to being free again) you might find that those other “resources” that were recommended to you such as an opt-in lead company and email auto-responder service are also companies they own, so now do you see what is happening?
They are not in the business of your work at home endeavors, this is why they “appear” to be more legitimate than those asking for “startup costs” to be paid, because this is nothing more than an elaborate means of in-fluxing their REAL businesses with allot of customers buying in to these recurring services, and at the same time, selling you “qualified” opt in leads, for which you most likely won’t be hammered by ICANN when you send these people emails, for those leads not having opted in, you will be given that information with the leads, if not, don’t buy them.
However keep in mind where these come from…..have You ever landed on a web page. and “You have just won a…..” just simply complete three or more offers from the following pages..and each one you go to, asks for nothing more than an email address, well each time someone fills one of those “request more information” forms, they just got that person’s approval to use their info to supply the described info, which is cryptically represented so far from it’s real intention, that when you start to email the people on your lists, you are going to get a majority opt-ing out from the get go, so….no “qualified” leads, no make $60000 a month from twenty minutes a week, and no income either after you spent three or four months plugging away with the most helpful support team for your success, but instead just keep guiding you to their other web endeavors and other lead store fronts, or other enterprises they stand to make multiple income streams from each and every one of you who fall for this type of marketing scheme.
These are just “basic” outlines as to how SOME of these work, there is much more to learn about how to sift through the many many creative methods these entrepreneurs use to keep their income levels far beyond what any of us have come to know, and their web page claims of those “testimonials” are their cousins parents, friends, and relatives with a few industrious people who managed to be so savvy that they actually WERE bringing in new business and causing them to pay off to them for their highly creative means of generating traffic to their business site, that they usually end up being recruited to run yet another completely identical (aside from the aesthetics) additional offer, by offering a stake in what they generate from it for being taken in to the fold and strengthening their presence, so for the originators making claims of making $xxxx thousands a month working twenty minutes a week, well excluding the twenty minutes, because like any business, with or with out ethics and integrity, takes allot of time work and effort, to be at all successful, those income claims (some of which actually show their checks as proof it can be done) are actually truths, albeit based in subterfuge, smoke, and mirrors. In this case mirror sites LOL!
Summing it up….investigate everything to the fullest extent, and look for these “associations” with the other services being offered, or being required to subscribe to in order to facilitate your getting traffic to your free site, ESPECIALLY when it is one of the ABSOLUTELY FREE you pay us nothing unless you make something, type deals, and hopefully by now, you got the message that it does take money to make money, but not to the company setting you up to make it, that expression leans more toward the logistics of setting up and launching a new business presence, and the time it takes to build a client base, and NOT to the originators of the offer.
Final thoughts on this:
Please be aware everything contained in this “article” for lack of a better term, are based on thorough research and actual experiences in my endeavors to determine the validity of such offers, in the hopes of sparing someone the losing proposition since most of these are marketed towards the demography’s of people unemployed, on disability, or just being worked to death for a pittance, and is looking to escape such grueling days just to survive, this currently describes a HUGE portion of our population with the state of the economy being what it is, so go buy some bread and milk, and let go of the idea you will find your salvation on a website with all the bells and whistles, buzz words and flash (literally and figuratively).
Should you happen to come in to a significant windfall of money, then by all means, invest in YOURSELF and do whatever research and work needed to fire up you own Internet or website based business offering services you can supply, or selling products you either warehouse yourself, or use drop shipping methods that allow for vast diversities in your product lines with out ever needing to handle the merchandise your self.
Best Of Luck to you all
